The freedom to work your way

When you sign up for FindYourHCP we will ask you questions about your experience, education, and areas of specialization. You must provide your registration number(s) for your college and association and you must be a member in good standing within the college or association. We will ask for a copy of your liability insurance. You will also need to provide a list of references. We use the information you provide to match you with employers looking for someone with your specific capabilities and experience.

Once you have been matched – which means you have accepted the job and they have accepted you – you will be provided with all the details you need to show up prepared and on-time. Be sure to bring with you all necessary documentation for the employer to be able to pay you directly. Should you need to cancel or are running late for an accepted job, please contact us immediately at 1-800-454-1556.

Please refer to the Rules of Engagement to make sure you review and understand all of your and the employer’s responsibilities.

You will be paid directly by the employer for your services. After you accept a match, please be sure to coordinate with the employer to facilitate payment directly to you at the beginning of your shift.

We require you to provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel an accepted shift. We understand that the unexpected may arise, but as part of our Rules of Engagement this is a requirement to be able to use our platform. We take a $250 admin fee when you sign up as part of your wallet and if this occurs, this amount will be removed from your wallet and dispersed as an admin fee and to the employer for the inconvenience and to cover their expenses. We understand that the unexpected may arise, which may force you to cancel a confirmed shift or work assignment. However, if you fail to show up for a shift without prior notice, or if you arrive late or fail to stay for the entirety of your shift, the practitioner may be subject to an administration charge of $250, which will be paid to the provider for the inconvenience and to cover expenses. Shifts can be posted up to 3 weeks in advance, and we ask you to allow 12 hours for last minute shifts. We use technology to send you notifications everytime a shift or assignment fits your schedule.

The more flexible you are about time and location the greater the chances are of finding a match. If a search comes up with nothing, consider adjusting your criteria and try again. If you continue to have trouble finding matches, please let us know.

In the event that you wish to enter into a permanent relationship with a practitioner that you were matched with through FindyourHCP, you must let us know. Providers are required to pay a fee to FindyourHCP to engage in a permanent relationship originated through our service. For more information, please refer to the Rules of Engagement

Please contact us and you will be kept in a confidential database. When we are ready to expand to your area, we will email you with a prompt to update your profile.We will expanding across Canada and into parts of the USA in 2021.
